BRASELTON, GA — Conner Kearby captured his first SCCA Pro victory in the Atlantic Championship Series at Sunday’s race at Road Atlanta. Conner trailed Polestar’s Keith Grant for much of the race before making a move to the front with two laps to go. His father, Gaston, joined him on the podium, taking 3rd just behind Grant.

“It was unbelievable, I had a good battle with Keith but persistence does pay off. I knew that if I let him get away I wouldn’t be able to stay in the draft and get him down the straight away, so I just had to keep up with him until the end and it seemed to pay off.”

The 17-year old Conner also propelled his no. 56 K-Hill prepped Swift 016a to a 2nd place finish behind Grant during Saturday’s race.
